Organization Of Workshop
Shree Gavisiddheshwara college of nursing has organised workshop on “Competency Based Skill Training on Bandaging Technique” on 17th February-2023. B.Sc. Nursing and Paramedical students were participated in the programme. Registration was started by 9-30 am at College auditorium followed by Pre-test. Ms. Nagaveni Nursing tutor taken the responsibility of Master of Ceremony. Ms. Megha, nursing tutor well come all the dignitaries. Then the programme was inaugurated by chief guest Dr. B. S. Savadi, Principal, Shree Jagadguru Gavisiddheshwara Ayurvedic Medical College, Koppal, Guest of Honour Dr. Praveen Kumar, Director, Shree Jagadguru Gavisiddheshwara Ayurvedic Medical College, Koppal and Dr. Ananda Kudari, Principal Shree Gavisiddheshwara College of Nursing, Koppal and faculty members by watering the plant. The chief guest and guest of honour and principal S G college of Nursing address the students, wished them for smooth ongoing workshop and become a trained professional in bandaging technique. Vote of thanks given by Ms. Nagarathna Nursing tutor. Workshop sessions was started by 11 am. Dr. Ananda Kudari Principal over view the session programme. Mrs. Sumangala B R Associate Professor Dept. of OBG started session and explained the Bandages, types, principles and other aspect of the bandages. Ms. Sumalatha, Ms. Yankamma Nursing tutor explains and demonstrated the technique of bandaging. Post lunch we have divided the students in a group and started practicing the technique of different bandages. All students are motivated and trained well. At 4-30 pm valedictory programme started with sharing the opinion by the students and distributed certificate for participation. Programme was ended with smiling of the participants like cherry on ice-cream.
